Matt Bunkers, weather consultant and retired certified consulting meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Rapid City, will discuss his experiences as a storm chaser and meteorologist, explain the formation of supercells and tornadoes, and share photos, videos, climatological information, and forecast tools. He will also discuss the basics of safety and logistical considerations while storm chasing.
